Brackets are often used to enclose language or to set it aside, out of context. But brackets are also open, giving language an opportunity to enter or escape. In this interactive poem, you guide a pair of brackets over various objects, releasing flickers of language, which changes as you move from room to room. 

WASD and ←↑↓→. If playing in a browser, a couple of clicks around the main screen should activate the sound on the next page. The exit in the blooming landscape can be hard to find, so visit the toothcloud if you need a hint.
